Always great service and ontime

Easy to make an appointment. Service completed in a timely manner. Kind and courteous staff.

While out shopping in Lincolnton, I noticed a rubbing noise seemingly coming from my tires. Afraid to drive my car home, I stopped at Abernethy and asked if the car could be checked. Though there appeared to be a line of vehicles for repair that day, time was made for my car. The repair was made while I waited. Thank you for fitting me in on a busy day.

I was told of the water pump and the repair but when something else broke in the process makes me wonder if something caused it. I was shown the issue and it was obvious a lot would have to be removed to get to it. I had reason to return to the shop after being taken home and the technician was hanging out with another tech. If it was me, I'd be preparing the car for when the part arrived. The labor charge was really high to me. I wonder about the work ethic of the technician. When I cranked the car when the repairs were done, the check engine light was on. I don't know what caused it and the technician cleared the light but it happened once before after a repair and it resolved then as well. Also in the text messages I was told what the costs would be and in one asked if I wanted to use my points. I replied yes but there was no indication on the bill that they were included as the total was the same as the estimate. Now I have no points and no evidence they were applied to my bill. I've been using Abernethy Chevrolet for years with good service. Now I have to drive from Lawndale. The service department could be better.

I made an appt for my cars regular service and a state inspection, they took my car back quickly and completed the requested service in less than an hour.

I have always been please with my experiences at Abernathy. Will not take my vehicle anywhere else. Between the salesman (Larry) and everyone else we are always taken care of.

All was as good completed in a timely manner.. I appreciate the good natured and Abernetyfriendly attitude of the service and parts staff. I'll give the service an A+, Thanks!
